Over snow-covered mountains, across shining glaciers and shifting ice-flows lies a glittering palace. Within its icy walls lives the Snow Queen, daughter of ice giants and goddess of winter, a shimmering beauty but with a cold and evil heart. She will not rest until all the nine worlds are frozen and all things good are turned bad.

Battling through snowstorms and blizzards, Gerda and Freya, goddess of Spring, travel over the rainbow bridge from middle earth to the land of gods, serpents and trolls to rescue their brothers from the Snow Queen’s icy grasp. Be a part of their journey as they boldly go to the land of eternal dark to defeat the evil Queen and breathe life back into the frozen earth.

Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, a world of fantasy and imagination mingles with everyday reality and becomes a very special show for everyone to enjoy.

"The Watermill Christmas show is...a little gem." - The Guardian
